The company was founded in 1995 by Oliver Brady and Rita Shah. Its activities are recycling and reprocessing of waste plastic material, manufacturing of bags and sacks.

The company exports 60% of its recyclate material. We currently employ over 60 persons with various levels of experience and qualifications and undergo continuous training and development depending on their roles and responsibilities.

County Monaghan is an ideal location of our company which is situated in Castleblayney which is easily accessible with good road connections throughout the whole of Ireland. The company has received support from Enterprise Ireland. There are many companies in Monaghan which can complement each other through procurement, sales and work force. Shabra has ongoing R&D activities and has plans to expand further, aiming “to be the best recycling reprocessing plant in Europe with sustainability and quality in mind”.
