Monaghan Local Enterprise Office (LEO) serves as a first stop shop to provide support and services to those seeking to expand an existing business or develop a new business in Co Monaghan. In terms of financial assistance the key focus of the LEO is on businesses with ten or less employees. The Office also acts as an information source and referral point for all state enterprise agencies.

Has over 30 years providing affordable workspace for businesses and entrepreneurs in the county. It currently owns or manages 5 enterprise facilities within the county, home to 46 enterprises and organisations that employ over 300 people. Industrial Development Agency (IDA)

The IDA is responsible for the attraction and development of foreign investment in Ireland. The IDA offers a range of services and incentives, including funding and grants, are available to those considering foreign direct investment in Ireland. European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (LEADER)

The LEADER Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020 has a total budget of €7.6 million for County Monaghan. The ‘Local Development Committee’ will be the Local Action Group charged with overseeing this programme and it will be delivered by Monaghan Integrated Development Ltd.
